Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a warm, compassionate space to explore your emotions, experiences, and challenges at your own pace. Whether you are navigating past trauma, current stress, anxiety, grief, burnout, or relational pain, our work together will honor both what you have lived through and what you hope to move toward.

My approach is integrative, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed. I draw from EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy to support healing in a way that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering. If you have experienced trauma, you may carry parts of yourself that feel stuck in the past—parts that hold fear, pain, anger, or exhaustion. These responses are not flaws; they are protective strategies that helped you survive.

In therapy, we will create space for the full complexity of your experience, including the ways your emotional well-being may be shaped by relationships, culture, identity, and larger systemic influences. Together, we can slow things down, listen with care to what your inner world is trying to communicate, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you.

This work is not about “fixing” you. It is about helping you reconnect with your body, your emotions, your inner wisdom, and your sense of self. Over time, therapy can help you build greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, self-trust, and more grounded, fulfilling relationships—with yourself and with others.

Relationship Therapy

Relationships can bring deep joy, comfort, and connection—but they can also leave us feeling stuck, reactive, or alone. Many partnerships get caught in painful cycles where one person escalates, shuts down, criticizes, or pulls away, and suddenly both people feel misunderstood or disconnected. In therapy, we’ll slow these patterns down together so you can better understand what is happening beneath the conflict and begin shifting how you relate to one another.

My work with relationships is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy, or EFT, a research-backed, attachment-based approach that helps partners strengthen their emotional bond, improve communication, and create more secure connection. Rather than focusing only on surface-level problems, EFT helps you identify the deeper emotions and needs underneath conflict—such as wanting to feel safe, valued, chosen, respected, or understood.

As you learn to share what is happening underneath the reactivity, you can begin to build more empathy, trust, and responsiveness with one another. Therapy offers a supportive space to be open and honest without fear of judgment, while practicing new ways of communicating that help you stay connected even in difficult moments.

Whether you are facing ongoing conflict, recovering from disconnection, navigating a life transition, or simply wanting to feel closer, I will support you in building the relationship you want. This work can be helpful for diverse relationship structures, including monogamous and consensually non-monogamous partnerships, and is designed to support lasting healing, resilience, and intimacy.
